House in the Woods, Ravenshead

Jackson-Crane Architecture, an award-winning architecture practice based in Nottingham, has recently submitted a planning application for a unique project called 'House in the Woods'. Located in Ravenshead, near Nottingham, the site is surrounded by dense woodland on all sides, providing a secluded and picturesque setting.

The decision to demolish the existing poorly built house was made in order to create a new build replacement dwelling that would better respond to the site context and cater to the lifestyle of the clients.

The new house, designed as a single-storey structure, features a linear layout with the main living spaces cantilevering out from the land below, creating a connection with the surrounding tree canopies.

This modernist inspired house in the woods is a stunning architectural masterpiece that seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings. With floor-to-ceiling windows, open-concept design, and sleek finishes, this house offers a contemporary and luxurious living experience in the midst of nature.

Features: - Floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding woods - Open-concept design that creates a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces - High-end finishes and fixtures for a modern and luxurious aesthetic - Sustainable and eco-friendly construction materials and practices - Spacious outdoor deck and patio areas for outdoor entertaining and relaxation.
